16 March 2014 Last updated at 16:09 GMT

The leader of the Scottish Conservatives, Ruth Davidson, told delegates at her party's conference in Edinburgh that the UK "belonged to all of us".

She said it was important to fight with the "head, heart and body" for the United Kingdom to stay together.

Her address on Sunday came six months before the people of Scotland go to the polls in the independence referendum.

They will be asked the "Yes/No" question: "Should Scotland be an independent country?"
