Leveson Inquiry: Murdoch's contact with Alex Salmond
The Leveson Inquiry into press standards and ethics has published details of News Corporation chairman Rupert Murdoch's contact with First Minister Alex Salmond.
The 81-year-old media mogul was asked by inquiry QC Robert Jay about his relationship with the SNP and its leader.
The Australian told the inquiry: "I don't know Mr Salmond well, but I've had three meetings here and he is an amusing guy and I enjoy his company and I enjoy talking with him and listening to him."
Mr Salmond's office has disputed some of the entries which were lodged by Mr Murdoch, including a lunch and a phone call which it said did not take place. (Details below)
