First unveils new Scottish buses head as Neil Barker

First has appointed a new regional managing director to head up its Scottish bus operations.

Neil Barker - who has joined First from National Express - will be Glasgow-based but is also expected to be in Aberdeen each week.

Mr Barker said: "Our aim is to grow and ensure our customers can enjoy safe, reliable and value for money services."

Giles Fearnley, First UK Bus managing director, said they were delighted to have attracted someone of such calibre.
