Man's body found in sea near Aberdeen Harbour

A man's body has been recovered from the sea at Aberdeen.

Emergency services were alerted to the discovery of the body close to the entrance of Aberdeen Harbour at about 19:30 on Wednesday.

Aberdeen RNLI recovered the body after the crew of an offshore supply vessel had raised the alarm.

Police Scotland said officers were making inquiries into the man's death, but that it was not being treated as suspicious.
