Two men appear in court after Keith fatal fire incident

Two teenagers have appeared in court charged with wilful fireraising over an incident in Moray, after which a woman died.

The 62-year-old woman became unwell after being evacuated from the blaze in the early hours of Saturday in Coopers Lane West, Keith, at its junction with Mid Street. She died in hospital.

Rory Gray and Cameron Thomson, both 18, were charged with wilful fireraising.

They were released on bail at Elgin Sheriff Court.

Neither of them made a plea. Both teenagers are from the Moray area.
