Lorry and trailer full of shortbread stolen in Kintore

Police are appealing for witnesses after the theft of a lorry and trailer full of shortbread in Aberdeenshire.

The incident happened at about 12:30 on Saturday at a business based at Midmill Industrial Estate in Kintore.

The lorry and trailer were later recovered nearby. The stolen shortbread was also recovered and is valued at about £15,000.

Officers have urged anyone who believes they may have seen something suspicious to contact them.
