Two in court for '£40,000 of heroin and crack cocaine' in Aberdeen

Two people have appeared in court after drugs with an estimated street value of more than £40,000 were recovered in Aberdeen.

Police said the seizure of heroin and crack cocaine was made in the Market Street area of the city on Friday.

Anthony Grant, 43, and Carol Dixon, 50, from the London area, faced drugs charges at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

They made no plea, Mr Grant was released on bail, his co-accused was remanded.
