Firefighters tackle grass blaze at St Combs

Firefighters have been called out to tackle a large grass blaze among sand dunes in Aberdeenshire.

Six appliances were sent to the scene of the fire at St Combs near Fraserburgh.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said three specialist forestry units were also on their way.

The service said no properties were threatened by the fire, which was reported shortly after 13:00.
