A man who died while diving off the coast of Moray has been named.

Benjamin Rayner, 38, from Lossiemouth, got into difficulties off Findochty on Sunday.

His parents Richard and Janet said: "We're absolutely devastated by Ben's sudden and early death. He was a lovely man with a great sense of humour.

"Ben will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him and by us especially, his mum and dad and his younger sisters Abigail and Charlotte."

Coastguards, an RNLI lifeboat, a search and rescue helicopter and ambulance were involved in the rescue effort.
