Man in court after heroin 'worth £26,000' seized in Aberdeen

King's Gate Police said the drugs were recovered in King's Gate

A man has appeared in court after heroin with an estimated street value of about £26,000 was recovered in Aberdeen.

Police Scotland said the seizure was made in the King's Gate area of the city on Wednesday.

Lee Nicol, 22, of Aberdeen, appeared at the city's sheriff court on Thursday.

Mr Nicol made no plea and was released on bail.
