North Sea diver Russell Robinson 'died after drill' at Balmoral platform
A North Sea diver died after being pulled from the water following rescue drills at an oil platform, a fatal accident inquiry has heard.
Russell Robinson, 33, was working at the Balmoral platform when the incident happened in 2011.
Colleague Paul Stone said Mr Robinson, of Barnsley, South Yorkshire, suffered breathing difficulties at a depth of 146m.
Mr Stone said: "He just drifted under the bell. He was motionless."
He told the inquiry in Aberdeen: "I heard him talking about difficulties with breathing."
The inquiry continues.
