Craig Baxter named as biker killed in A947 crash

A biker who died following a crash in Aberdeenshire has been named as a 24-year-old from the Banff area.

Craig Baxter died following the accident on the A947 just after 08:00 on Thursday.

The collision, about one mile south of Fyvie, also involved three vans.

Sgt Neil Morrison said: "Our thoughts at this extremely difficult time are with the family and friends of Craig Baxter."

He added: "We are asking for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles prior to the incident to come forward with information."
