Woman's body found after fall from Aberdeen flats

The police cordon at Seamount Court Police said inquiries into the woman's death were continuing

A woman whose body was found outside high rise flats in Aberdeen is believed to have fallen from a window.

Police Scotland said the woman, who was in her 50s, fell from a window at Seamount Court.

The area around the flats, in the Gallowgate area, has been cordoned off since about 07:30.

The police statement said an inquiry was continuing and no further details would be released until the investigation was complete.
