Police appeal after 'particularly nasty' assault in Aberdeen

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man suffered serious injuries in a "particularly nasty assault" in Aberdeen.

The 30-year-old man was injured during an incident in the Sheddocksley playing fields and Davidson Drive area of the city on Thursday night.

His injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening.

Police Scotland appealed for anyone - particularly dog walkers - who may have seen something to get in touch.
