Orkney death biker named by police as Sandy Watson

A motorcyclist who was killed in collision on a causeway on Orkney has been named.

Sandy Watson, 52, died after the collision with two vans on the A961 number two Churchill Barrier at about 16:25 on Wednesday.

The causeway was closed for almost eight hours to allow accident investigators to examine the scene.

Police, appealing for witnesses, said all the vehicles were travelling north at the time.
