Maclean's Highland Bakery employees 'to rise by 12' in Forres

Staffing at a Moray bakery is set to rise by 12 to meet increasing demand for its products.

Maclean's Highland Bakery, of Forres, said it would add to its current level of 125 employees during the year ahead.

The company will install a second packaging line - doubling its capacity - after securing a six-figure Clydesdale Bank funding package.

The company reported a 40% increase in exports to markets including China, the USA and the Middle East in 2013.
