Woman dies after three-vehicle crash in Moray

A 28-year-old woman has died after a three-vehicle crash in Moray on Friday.

The accident, on the A96, Elgin to Forres road near Alves, happened at about 18:30.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash which involved an HGV, a grey Nissan Micra and a silver Ford Ka.

The driver of the Ka had to be freed by firefighters and was taken to Dr Gray's hospital, Elgin, but later died.
