Plans to install a hot tub and bucking bronco in a nightclub in Aberdeen have sparked police and health official concerns.

The owners of the Korova Bar and Underground Klub have applied for permission to make the changes to the Bridge Street premises.

The proposals are set to be discussed at a council meeting next week.

Concerns about safety, the provision of changing facilities and supervision have been raised.

Christopher Littlejohn, an NHS Grampian consultant in public health, has written to the licensing board.

He said the plans are not conducive in an establishment where alcohol is consumed.
