School Report team at Aberdeen FC Pupils spoke to players at Aberdeen FC

Schoolchildren from the north east of Scotland have been taking part in the BBC News School Report initiative.

Pupils from Northfield Academy and Robert Gordon's College in Aberdeen, Aboyne Academy, and the Gordon Schools in Huntly were among those involved in the annual day of learning about news gathering.

The Northfield team questioned players at Aberdeen FC.

The club had paraded the Scottish League Cup trophy on Sunday.

More than 30,000 students from more than 1,000 schools are taking part in the BBC News School Report.
