Aberdeen homes: Public comment sought on plan for thousands of new houses

Public comment is being sought on plans that could see thousands of homes and a number of schools built in Aberdeen.

The phase one masterplan for the Countesswells area of the city has been put out to consultation.

About 3,000 houses plus "employment land" is earmarked for a site between Bieldside, Kingswells, Hazlehead woods and Foggieton and Countesswells woods.

One secondary and two primary schools are also proposed.
