Police have released a new image of a missing 73-year-old Buckie man, dressed in the clothes he was wearing when he was last seen.

Ian Bramald was last seen a week ago about two miles south of the town, in an area near Drybridge and Thornybank.

Helicopters and dogs have been involved in the search operation.

Police Scotland said: "We would now ask people to look at the new photographs, giving particular consideration to his clothing."

Mr Bramald is described as being between 5ft 10in and 6ft tall, with dark hair which is receding on top.

When last seen he was wearing a short green waterproof jacket, blue corduroy trousers, a cap, a multi-coloured scarf and glasses.
