Jordan Tapping game: 19-year-old man charged

East Stirlingshire player Jordan Tapping Jordan Tapping was substituted during the game against Peterhead

A 19-year-old man has been charged following an incident at Peterhead's Balmoor Stadium on Saturday.

It comes after claims an East Stirling footballer suffered racial abuse from the crowd.

Seventeen-year-old Jordan Tapping was substituted towards the end of the game.

The club issued a statement saying the player was "extremely distressed". Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
