'Significant' search for missing Buckie man Ian Bramald

Ian Bramald Ian Bramald was last seen on Wednesday morning in Buckie

A "very significant operation" is being carried out to find a missing 73-year-old Buckie man.

Ian Bramald was last seen at about 09:00 on Wednesday in the Archibald Court area of the town.

Helicopters, specialist search dogs, coastguard and mountain rescue teams have all been involved.

Insp Colin Mowat said: "We are deeply concerned for his well-being and will continue to search for Mr Bramald."

He is described as being about 5ft 5in tall, with dark hair which is receding on top.

When last seen he was wearing a short, green waterproof jacket, blue corduroy trousers, a cap, a multi-coloured scarf and glasses.
