One alleged victim, 18, told Aberdeen Sheriff Court she was driven to an activity centre in the boot of a car.

She said Mr McConnachie threatened the "biggest beasting" of her life.

Mr McConnachie and Ms Boyd, of Newtonhill, face two charges of wilfully ill-treating girls at a property and an activity centre between 1 January 2006 and 30 June 2012.

The witness, who cannot be named for legal reasons, said she was given a weight when she got out of the car, and had to run up a hill and fell because it was steep.

Giving evidence from behind a screen, she said: "I was made to run up it with this weight above my head.

"He was like, 'I'm going to give you the biggest beasting of your life'."

Drinking water

The girl said Mr McConnachie was scowling and roaring in her ear during the incident and said she was scared.

She said: "He had water, drinking it in front of me. I wasn't allowed any water.

"My legs were sore from running up this hill."

The girl claimed Mr McConnachie was pushing her and she forced herself to carry on.

She said she was "wrecked", tired and upset.

She told the jury: "I actually felt like a rag doll. I was getting pushed around."

Mr McConnachie faces two further charges of sexually assaulting the girls.

The trial continues.
