Shetland Total industrial dispute ends

An industrial dispute at the new Total gas plant in Shetland has ended.

Union members had to decide on an enhanced pay deal from site managers Petrofac after a dispute over compensation for travelling time and sharing bedrooms.

The Unite union said the dispute had now been settled after a ballot.

The construction project is due to be completed this summer. The £3bn gas plant is next to the Sullom Voe terminal.
