Bressay primary in Shetland set to be closed

The Bressay primary school in Shetland is set to close.

Councillors on the school's education and families committee will recommend to the full council on Wednesday the school should shut in the summer.

Of the 16 primary age children on the island, 12 already attend classes in Lerwick.

The council and Scottish government still have to rubber stamp the decision.
