Hamilton School joint inquiry under way in Aberdeen

An inspection at an Aberdeen private school at the centre of complaints over the quality of care given to children there is under way.

The joint inspection the Hamilton School by the Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland comes after police said two women, aged 65 and 25, would be reported to the procurator fiscal following inquiries.

The Care Inspectorate said it would take enforcement action if necessary.

The school said it is co-operating.
