Entries for Grampian Awards for Business Excellence sought

Entries for the Grampian Awards for Business Excellence are being sought.

The 2014 awards - the 15th year the event has been held - have been launched in Aberdeen.

Categories include most promising new business and entrepreneur of the year.

Gary McEwan, chief executive of Enterprise North East Trust, which runs the awards, said: "These awards are a celebration for new and mature entrepreneurs."

Mike Fergusson, from sponsors RBS, who helped launch this year's event, said: "The awards highlight and recognise some of the most outstanding businesses in the north of Scotland."

Registration forms can be completed online from Thursday afternoon, with a deadline of Friday 7 March.

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 26 June.
