Police officer Gavin Angus 'sexual assault' case collapses
The trial of a police constable accused of sexually assaulting women at the headquarters of the former Grampian force has collapsed.
Gavin Angus, 42, denied he repeatedly touched two women without their consent.
The case at Aberdeen Sheriff Court was abandoned shortly after the first alleged victim said she did not believe there had been any sexual intent.
Prosecutor Sandy Hutchison said he was no longer seeking a conviction.
Mr Angus had denied sexually assaulting two women on various occasions between August 2011 and August 2012.
He declined to comment after the case.
