Search resumes for missing Peterculter man Douglas Bruce

Search teams Coastguard teams have been aiding the search

The search for a 78-year-old missing on the outskirts of Aberdeen has resumed.

Douglas Bruce, from Peterculter, has been missing since about 09:15 on Wednesday.

An air and land search was launched, and divers and Coastguard teams were searching river banks on Thursday. Woodland was also being searched.

Mr Bruce is described as 5ft 2in tall, of medium build, with grey/white hair. He usually wears glasses with silver rims.

When last seen he was wearing a dark jacket with a hood, grey trousers, brown boots and a dark-coloured hat.

He was also wearing a dark scarf.
