Two men who robbed a Shetland couple at gunpoint after they had travelled to Bradford to buy a car have been jailed.
Michael Irvine and partner Louise Cogle expected to buy an Audi A4 Quattro they had seen for sale on the internet.
But they were instead robbed of their suitcase, which contained £5,000.
Sajid Hussain was jailed for a total of 10 years for the robbery, as well as drugs offences, and Shahid Sadik was jailed for six years and three months.
In a police interview, Miss Cogle said the gun was pointed at her partner's face and she thought he was going to be shot.
''I was begging them not to shoot him,'' she said.
Mr Irvine said: ''My heart started pounding and I realised it was fruitless trying to do anything.''
Hussain, 26, who was found guilty after trial on the robbery and firearm offences, and Sadik, 24, who admitted his role, were jailed at Bradford Crown Court for the incident, which happened in August last year.
Judge John Potter said: ''On any view this was a carefully planned robbery, your victims lured to their fate from a considerable distance.''
The robbery happened in the Heaton area of Bradford.
