Woman who died in A90 crash near Fraserburgh named

A woman who died after a crash between two cars in Aberdeenshire on Tuesday has been named by police.

Mary Whyte, 76, was the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision on the A90.

The accident happened about a mile south of Fraserburgh, at about 15:00.

Police Scotland has appealed for witnesses to the crash that involved a silver Renault Clio and a bronze Mercedes 4x4.
