Police officer Allan Masson denies Aberdeenshire dangerous driving

A police officer has denied dangerous driving after a man was knocked down on an Aberdeenshire road.

The incident happened on an unclassified road between the A96 and Chapel of Garioch on 21 March.

Allan Masson, 41, is now set to stand trial at Aberdeen Sheriff Court.

He was not present at Wednesday's hearing but solicitor Peter Shepherd said his client was pleading not guilty to the charge.
