Police officer Allan Masson charged after Aberdeenshire crash injury

A police officer has been charged with dangerous driving after a man was knocked down on an Aberdeenshire road.

The case against Allan Masson, 41, called at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday and was continued without plea for a week.

The incident happened on an unclassified road between the A96 and Chapel of Garioch on 21 March.

At the time, a man believed to be in his 60s was taken to hospital after being "seriously" injured.
