Steven McDonald and Arthur Ord jailed over Aberdeen heroin haul

Two men who admitted being involved in the supply of drugs after heroin with a street value of about £60,000 was found in Aberdeen have been jailed.

Police discovered the drugs during a search of 34-year-old Arthur Ord's home in February, the High Court in Edinburgh heard.

They then arrested 28-year-old accomplice Steven McDonald.

McDonald was jailed for three-and-a-half years and Ord for three years and four months.

Lord Pentland, at the High Court in Dumbarton, said the men were involved in a "serious offence".
