Woman taken to hospital after B9119 Westhill to Midmar collision

A woman has been taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious head injuries after a crash in Aberdeenshire.

The emergency services were called to the two-vehicle collision on the B9119 Westhill to Midmar road just before 13:00 on Friday.

The road at Carnie was closed westbound at the Carnie roundabout as a result, and diversions put in place.

The collision was believed to have involved a car and a lorry.
