Latest ATM raid in Moray sees possible link being probed

ATM Police are now investigating five ATM raids in the north east of Scotland

Police are investigating if the theft of a cash machine from a Moray post office is linked to a spate of similar incidents in the north east of Scotland.

Raiders stole the ATM from the post office in Hopeman Road, Duffus, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Officers are probing recent thefts in Bieldside and New Deer, and attempts on machines in Oldmeldrum and Inverurie.

A dark-coloured Audi saloon is "believed to be of relevance".

Last week officers issued CCTV images of the car in connection with the earlier incidents.
