Successful Aberdeen boxer Lee McAllister has announced his retirement from the sport.

McAllister - known as the Aberdeen Assassin - was the first Scot to hold two Commonwealth titles at different weights at the same time.

He said at the time in 2011: "I've put Aberdeen on the boxing map."

The 30-year-old - who lost just three of his 38 fights - has struggled to overcome injury.
