River Spey body named as Elgin man Sandy Gray

A body found in the River Spey has been identified as a missing Moray man.

Sandy Gray had been reported missing from Elgin on Friday 13 September.

Police Scotland said Mr Gray's body was recovered from the River Spey near to Boat O' Brig, Rothes, on Monday.

A spokesman said: "There appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal in due course."
