Woman killed in crash at Oldmeldrum named as Emma Cameron

A woman who died after a crash involving a car and a cement mixer lorry in Aberdeenshire has been named.

She was Emma Cameron, aged 27, from the Oldmeldrum area.

The crash happened on the A947 at its junction with the A920 east of Oldmeldrum at about 18:00 on Friday.

The road was closed for several hours while investigations were carried out. Police Scotland have appealed for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
