Man in hospital following B9029 crash in Aberdeenshire

A man has been taken to hospital after a crash in Aberdeenshire.

The accident happened on the B9029 New Deer to Maud road just before 08:00.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the motorist - believed to be aged about 45 - was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The full extent of his injuries were not known, but they were not believed to be life-threatening.
