Aberdeen haul of counterfeit goods 'worth £25,000'

Counterfeit goods estimated to be worth more than £25,000 have been seized in Aberdeen.

Police and Trading Standards officers targeted a property in the Torry area on Monday.

Branded clothing, electrical goods, jewellery and handbags were among the items recovered as part of the Operation Maple initiative.

Sgt Allen Shaw said: "The recovery of goods was significant and shows the success of this operation."
