Aberdeen Donside by-election: UKIP selects Otto Inglis

Otto Inglis By-election candidate Otto Inglis is UKIP's Scotland secretary

The UKIP candidate for the forthcoming Aberdeen Donside by-election has been named as Otto Inglis.

The by-election, which will be on Thursday 20 June, follows the death of the SNP MSP Brian Adam.

Mr Adam died last month, aged 64, after a battle with cancer.

Mr Inglis, the party's Scotland secretary, runs a business in Edinburgh.
