CCTV appeal over Stonehaven Hogmanay fireballs rape attack

Police release CCTV of a man they want to speak to

CCTV film of a man police want to trace in connection with the rape of a woman after the Stonehaven Hogmanay fireballs has been released.

The attack happened on or near the A90 northbound between Stonehaven and Portlethen early on 1 January.

Police Scotland said the 33-year-old woman had been picked up in a silver or grey five-door hatchback around Allardice Street.

The man seen in the footage was wearing a red hat.
