Woman killed in crash in Shetland named as Pearl Sinclair

A woman who died following a crash involving her car and a lorry on the A970 in Shetland has been named.

Margaret Sinclair, known as Pearl, 68, of Levenwick, was involved in the incident at 15:25 on Tuesday about 10 miles south of Lerwick.

She was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital where she later died.

The road was closed and a diversion put in place while police carried out investigations. Police Scotland have appealed for witnesses.
