Moray sex act IT tutor struck off teachers' register
A IT tutor from Moray who performed a sex act in front of a schoolboy over a webcam has been removed from the teachers' register.
Christopher Daniels, 29, was working at Lossiemouth High School when the incident involving the 15-year-old happened in July 2011.
He was sentenced to a two-year community payback order last year.
Daniels has now been struck off the General Teaching Council Scotland's Register of Teachers.
He admitted the allegation against him and waived his right to a hearing on his fitness to teach.
Daniels was sentenced to a two-year community payback order after admitting the offence at Elgin Sheriff Court in October last year.
The Lossiemouth man was also placed on the sex offenders register for two years.
