Sport Aberdeen workers set to strike

Workers at the Sport Aberdeen charitable trust, which runs swimming pools and leisure centres in the city, are set to take strike action.

Members of the Unite and GMB unions have voted in favour of the industrial action in protest at plans to change terms and conditions.

The strike dates have still to be decided.

Sport Aberdeen wants to remove some shift allowances in a bid to fill a £500,000 budget shortfall.
