Appeal after stones thrown at traffic in Aberdeen

Police have appealed for witnesses after stones were thrown at traffic near one of Aberdeen's busiest roundabouts.

The incident happened on North Anderson Drive, close to the Haudagain roundabout, at about 22:00 on Tuesday.

Police Scotland said two cars and a lorry were damaged as a result.

A spokesperson, appealing for information via 101 or Crimestoppers, said: "The consequences could have been more serious."
