One man dead in grain plant accident at Drumlithie

A man has died after an industrial accident at a grain storage plant in Aberdeenshire.

Grampian Police said they were called to East Coast Viners, near Drumlithie, just after 10:10.

A force spokesperson said: "Unfortunately, a man aged in his 40s suffered fatal injuries."

No further details about the nature of the accident have yet been released. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has been informed.
