Man in court after robbery at William Hill in Aberdeen

A man has appeared in court after an Aberdeen bookmakers was robbed at knifepoint.

The armed robbery happened at William Hill in King Street on Wednesday 13 February at about 14:35.

Ashton Driscoll, 22, of Aberdeen, appeared at the city's sheriff court charged with assault and robbery.

A Crown Office spokesperson said Mr Driscoll made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
